The Ceremony
Clearly the ceremony is the most important chapter of you your video. The entire ceremony is recorded with one or two 3-chip video cameras and professional microphones capturing all the emotions, the tears and the joy of this special time. You'll relive the exchanging of vows, lighting the unity candle, the ring exchange and the first kiss as husband and wife. You'll see things that you missed before and during the ceremony like the seating of family and friends, the entrance of your wedding party, the emotions of the expectant groom and more.
The Reception
The ceremony is over and now it's time for celebration. We'll capture all the major events including your arrival, wedding party introductions, the toasts, cutting of the cake and your first dance. Always a crowd favorite is the tossing of the bouquet and garter. Additional reception coverage could include personal interviews with family and friends, the wedding party group dance, bride and father dance, groom and mother dance and more, all tastefully edited to tell a compelling story of this happy time.
The Life Story
This popular chapter takes photos (and video if available) of the bride and groom from childhood to the present and combines them with digital effects set to music. This montage, or video slideshow, can be provided in advance for viewing at your reception. What a great way to entertain your guests as they laugh and reminisce to the images on the screen. Ask MVC or your wedding planner about equipment for viewing your Life Story segment at the reception and/or rehearsal dinner.
The Love Story
This special production can be as much fun to create as it is to watch on your wedding video. Shot at various favorite locations of the couple, the Love Story is tailored to your personalities. It can include interviews of the couple discussing how and where they met, their first date, first kiss, the engagement moment and any funny stories they want to share. This professionally edited segment is very romantic and documents a special time in the couples lives together. The Love Story can also be shown at the rehearsal dinner and/or reception.
The Formal Photo Session
Sometimes overlooked by other videographers, the formal photo session with your professional photographer can be a source of great video moments. You can see the still photos in your wedding album but the things that happen just before and after the photo is taken can be humorous and touching.
The Formal Photo Montage
Like the Life Story montage, this chapter utilizes your formal wedding photos to create an exciting video slideshow. Digitally edited and set to music, this montage can also be recorded separately to be given as gifts to your wedding party and relatives. Due to copyright issues with other photographers, the Formal Photo montage may only available if you book Photographic Expressions for your professional wedding photography.
The Rehearsal Dinner
Although not for everyone, the rehearsal dinner is the beginning of a weekend celebration of two lives coming together as one. We capture the stories, the toasts and speeches, the laughs and emotions of your family and friends, some of whom will be meeting for the first time tonight. Makes a great addition to your wedding video story.
The Highlights
As the name implies, this chapter of your video is a compilation of all the highlights of your special day. Short video segments of key moments of the day are presented with a mixture of tasteful digital transitions and beautiful background music. Some slow-motion and black & white effects will add to the emotional feel of this popular video chapter. Separate Highlight videos make great gifts too.
Honeymoon Photo Montage
A video slideshow of your honeymoon photos, digitally edited and set to music, then placed at the end of your video will complete your wedding story. Signifying the start of your lives together a montage of your honeymoon will let you relive the memories of a special time.
Your Wedding on DVD
For superb in-home viewing, the best way to watch your wedding video is on DVD. MVC offers DVD's that are menu driven and customized just like Hollywood movie DVD's. With the push of a button you can skip forward or backward to any chapter on your wedding video. Although VHS tapes will be here for many years to come, we recommend the DVD format for convenience, longevity and superior picture quality.
